Remembering The Future | Circulate | 2015
We were commissioned by the Circulate consortium to create an outdoor artwork that would connect the outer boroughs of London.
After two years of research and development, in 2015 were were ready to debut “Remembering the Future” – a collaboration with six art centre youth groups and Emergency Exit Arts.
After asking the youth of London to write about and draw their visions of the future, we built their characters in 3D and made an installation that would map them to the movements of passersby in real time.
To launch the installation on high streets across London, EEA workshopped a performance with the same local youth groups at each location on the tour.
