Instamosaic | Topshop | 2014

We were commissioned by Family Ltd to create an interactive window installation for Topshop LFW S/S 2015.

We combined live HD streaming catwalk content with hundreds of images from Instagram to create a real time visual mosaic that was activated by movement in front of Topshop Oxford Street and also at the VIP cafe at the Topshop Show Space in Kings Cross. Topshop selected 5 top Instagrammers to curate content on the installation – members of the public could add their content by using the #topshopwindow hashtag on Instagram.

Taking the form of a triptych of high definition screens, the installation provided a real time socially activated link between LFW catwalk activity and Topshop’s over three million followers on Instagram. Over a thousand images from the public were successfully tagged and displayed on one of the most high profile fashion addresses in the world.
